2General information on data processing
We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. Processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory grounds for permission, in particular Art. 6 (1) DSGVO (GDPR). Data is disclosed to third parties only in the cases described below and on the respective legal basis stated therein.
3Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by the hosting provider IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host’s servers. When the website is accessed, the host or the content management system automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in server log files:
- anonymized or shortened IP address
- date and time of access
- the page or file accessed and the amount of data transferred
- notification of successful retrieval
- browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL
This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO (GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of our website. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 DSGVO) has been concluded with the host.
4SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix in the address bar of your browser.
5Contact via form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (such as first and last name, email address, organization, selected subject, and the content of your message) in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. Before sending, you confirm by means of a mandatory checkbox that you have taken note of this privacy policy; in this respect, Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO (GDPR) is the legal basis.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO (GDPR) insofar as your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO), where such consent was requested.
To provide the forms, we use the Contact Form 7 software, which runs locally on our server; your form data is not transmitted to the provider of this software. The submitted data is transmitted by email to our mailbox and processed there. Technical delivery takes place via the email service of our hosting provider (see section 3). No disclosure to other third parties takes place.
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
Waiting list (Creating Movement). On the Creating Movement page, you can sign up for a waiting list in order to be notified as soon as a particular product becomes available. For this purpose, we process your email address and the selected product, solely for the purpose of notifying you of its availability. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO), which you give by means of a mandatory checkbox before sending. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by sending an informal message to kontakt@schillinger.consulting. Your data is deleted as soon as the product has been published and the notification has been sent, or once you withdraw your consent. Your address is not used for any advertising beyond this or for a newsletter.
6Newsletter
On our website, you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about professional insights as well as offers and publications. For registration, we use the double opt-in procedure: after you have signed up, you will receive an email in which we ask you to confirm your subscription. Only after your confirmation do we add your address to the distribution list. The only mandatory detail is your email address; providing your name is voluntary and serves to address you personally.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO). You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter email or by sending an informal message to kontakt@schillinger.consulting. The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected. To document your consent, we store the time of registration and of confirmation; this serves our legitimate interest in providing proof of proper consent (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO).
For distribution, we use the rapidmail service provided by rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg, Germany. Your registration data is processed on rapidmail servers in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO, which ensures processing in accordance with the contract and with data protection law. You can find details on data protection at rapidmail at www.rapidmail.de/datenschutz. Your data remains stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter; after you unsubscribe, it is deleted from the distribution list or blocked in order to provide proof of your prior consent.
7Cookies and consent
Our website uses cookies insofar as this is technically necessary to provide the website. These technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO and Section 25 (2) TDDDG. Cookies that are not strictly necessary, or services that require consent, are only set after your express consent pursuant to Section 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
8Fonts (Google Fonts)
To ensure a consistent presentation, this website uses the fonts “Cormorant Garamond” and “DM Sans”. These are embedded locally on the server and loaded directly from there. No connection to Google servers is established in the process; in particular, no personal data such as your IP address is transmitted to Google.
9Links to social networks and profiles
On our website you will find links to our profiles on services such as LinkedIn and Xing. These are simple links, not embedded content (no “social plugins”). Data is only transmitted to these providers once you actively click on a link and access the respective platform. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies to processing that takes place there.
10Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this policy, personal data remains with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for erasure or withdraw a consent, your data will be deleted, provided that no legally permissible grounds for further retention exist (for example, retention periods under tax or commercial law).
11Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data vis-à-vis the controller:

12Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other remedies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of your data infringes the DSGVO (GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
